This sweet girl turned one, and oh how cute she looked! For this birthday session, we met at Teton Canyon in Alta, Wyoming and endured the cold, snowy afternoon. Everly did great despite the chilly weather. Nicki, Everly’s mom, stepped away for a moment and we had some tears flowing, but the blue sled came in clutch! Everly’s adorable smile appeared again with some cruisin’ on the adventurous winter equipment. Her big brother tagged along, as we were hoping to capture some posed images of “brother and sister”. I’m not sure baby Everly was ever really down to have Big Brother a part of her special photo-op, but we managed to get the two of them in a few shots (with tears and smiles). Having flexibility at photoshoots is so important, especially when working with the little people. Emotions are chaotic and the weather can make things difficult. Nicki did an awesome job bringing an assortment of toys to keep the littles entertained, and I loved her “winterized” props for Everly’s setting. This family was a gift to meet and spend time with. I thoroughly enjoy documenting sessions that celebrate!
